Abstract

This paper explores the fundamental principles of morphology, the branch of linguistics that studies the structure, formation, and classification of words. Special attention is given to inflectional and derivational morphology, as well as morphological typology. The paper also discusses the role of morphology in linguistic theory and its implications for language learning and translation.
