Abstract

This work focuses on the role of tourism in the economy of Uzbekistan, its development prospects, measures taken by the state, as well as issues of financing the tourism industry. Also, the main problems and prospects for investment development of the tourism industry of Uzbekistan are considered. The main criteria for development, as well as measures for effective investment activities in the regional tourism industry, have been identified.
