DIVERSIFICATION OF FUNDING SOURCES FOR SCIENCE IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

In today’s context of globalization and a knowledge-based economy, science is becoming one of the primary factors ensuring the economic competitiveness, technological independence, and innovative development of nations. The rapid advancement of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, green energy, robotics, and other high-tech fields in the global economy is drastically increasing the demand for research and development activities. Under these conditions, alongside providing adequate financial resources for science, diversifying its funding sources is also becoming a critical strategic task.
