Abstract

An algorithm is a sequence of actions required to solve a given problem.The word and the concept of algorithm are inextricably linked with the name of Muhammad al-Khorazmi, who lived and created in the 9th century. The word "algorithm" came from the distortion of Al-Khorazmi's name by European scientists. Al-Khwarizmi was the first to establish the principles of the decimal number system and the rules for performing the four actions in it.
